"This is by far the best experience! The host is a master chef & he offers to prepare a gourmet dinner for the guests paired with local wines. We experienced a 3 course meal created with the finest fresh ingredients, many from his garden. This was a 5 star restaurant rating for sure! The table setting,the attention to detail & the hosts genuine hospitality created our most delightful evening. Breakfast included in the morning was just as delicious with homemade jams & fresh breads along with other treats! The accomodations are super modern, clean & comfortable. An experience like no other! Thank you so much!"

"This is a a beautiful old chateau which operates as a hotel. The staff is lovely and very accommodating to travelers. I do t speak any French and the staff speaks little English but we managed just fine. I stayed in the carriage house. The room was very basic but had a remodeled bathroom. Probably the biggest issue was the heat and a lack of air conditioning. I had temps ranging from 98-102 the entire time I was there so that was hard. Just know this when you plan. The restaurant is wonderful and reasonable for Europe. It was the best food I had in three weeks traveling in Europe. One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Breakfasts are wonderful and again, very reasonable. Fresh fruit, ham, meat and cheeses along with fresh breads and pastries. You should definitely rent a car if staying her. Ubers are a fortune to and from this location. Double of what you would expect. It’s not walkable to town or any conveniences. That said, it was a quiet and very quaint stay and again, the staff was fantastic."
