"Nice new self-contained apartment close to the train station and downtown Angers. It would have been perfect except we sweltered each night through a boiling hot week of summer. Why they don’t have air conditioning in a new apartment building (except for the lobby) is a mystery and a huge let down considering how things are going with climate change. I didn’t check carefully enough when booking and would have stayed elsewhere, given that I knew it was likely to be hot in July."

"The room was very tiny and it was so hot. The hotel supplied a fan but the window was covered by a heavy metal screen that wouldn’t open very far. It’s not their fault that it was in the triple digits Fahrenheit outside but I don’t recommend it in the summer months because there’s no way to cool the room at all. It’s probably fine in the cooler months but again the room was really small."
