"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "Good sized gite in beautiful grounds with easy access to the heated swimming pool, hot tub and fishing lake. Hosts, Pat and Tony, were very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and available, if needed. As a group of family and friends, we had a great week with something for everyone."

The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! In the heatwave we managed to keep cool enough by arranging air to come in through open windows, but keeping shutters almost closed.
