The pool was excellent, there were plenty of chairs and sun loungers for everyone. The pool table/games room was a brilliant addition. We went on the VELO rail in the nearby Corgnac-sur-l'Isle which was great fun."

"Well-maintained cottage with a lovely heated swimming pool, and lots of outdoor space. Very comfortable inside. We enjoyed our short stay here - it is ideal for up to 4 people. The location is quiet and peaceful, and close to the pretty village of Segur le Chateau. Bernard is very welcoming."

"Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. Host’s really nice and friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back."

"Le très mauvais temps n'a pas permis d'apprécier la région, ni les extérieurs du gîte (piscine...), dommage. Toutefois Brantôme tout proche vaut le détour et Sarlat aussi mais plus loin. "Very well equipped property - great to have good sharp knives and a huge supply of pans, crockery etc, but we were rather surprised to be charged for linen when the listing does not mention this. The pool is absolutely lovely particularly with the resident frogs, but the alarm did sound a few times for no apparent reason (including 5 am in the morning once). The property is several Km from Tourtoirac. Bernard, the host, was very welcoming and absolutely charming! This is a great place for...

"Great location for access to Saint Mathieu and the lake. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of decent crockery, etc. No frills but adequately met our needs. As we were only a couple we were paying a premium, better value for a family. Gardens surrounded the property with plenty of choice of seating, weather permitting."
