"Ideally situated with just a pleasant 10 minute walk into the town and the chateau. Good access to main roads to visit other chateaux and countryside. Well furnished and decorated flat in a street of old houses. Parking is just around the corner. Francois is a pleasant and helpful host who lives next door to the site and is is on hand to resolve any difficulties or answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay."

"The village is small and the people in the local shops and restaurants are very welcoming… Apart from “hello - goodbye - please - thank you “ our French is shameful. But everyone was so friendly.. Our hosts, Anne-Sophie and Olivier were lovely. The cottage was fresh, clean, well equipped and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. If are looking for somewhere to call home and relax after exploring the region, this is the place stay."

"The house is just like in the photos, although they don’t really do it justice. We all had a fabulous time, there was enough of everything - from generous size mugs to plates and outdoor chairs. The house was lovely and cool inside, even though it was fairly hot outside. "Along with another family, we stayed at this fabulous place in August 2023 for our summer holiday. Four children (aged 4-10 years old) and four adults had a great time. "Three friends visited the Loire for six nights. This property is very charming, and well-suited for two couples or two friends, as it has two bedrooms with ensuite baths at either end of a renovated home for privacy. Do take note that the stairs are steep! ( But this IS Europe!) There are delightful touches throughout. Elisabeth is charming and very accommodating. I recommend it without hesitation."

"Le gîte semble prometteur. Certes il est refait à neuf mais la propreté laisse à désirer Tapis sale. Plaids sur le canapé pas lavés Filtre du lave vaisselle indescriptible. Four plein de miettes. … et cerise sur le gâteau nous avons payé 120€ pour le ménage que les hôtes nous reprochent de ne pas avoir fait Louons souvent avec Abritel et cela n’est jamais arrivé."
