"We were hosted by a welcoming farm couple to the upstairs bedroom and private bathroom in their home. Beautiful farm village just 5 minutes drive from the town of St James where we could shop. We were treated to breakfast in the morning in their front dining room overlooking their garden. Beautiful rural farm experience."

"This place was awesome. All of us including the children loved it. House is located in the picturesque countryside in Brittany not far from mount St. Michel. It was clean, organized, newly renovated, and well equipped. All beds were comfortable including the pullout couch. Restaurant and grocery store close by. I wished we could have stayed longer."

"Veronique was a great host - nothing seemed to much trouble. Our room was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast in her kitchen (as it was raining) gave us a chance to 'chat' with her good English and our poor French - great fun!"

"The property is beautiful and the room was spacious with a private, adjoined toilet and bath. The views of the countryside are spectacular and you really feel transported back in time. "We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

"Not easy to find. Located inside a botanical garden. A must see. Spacious room,very clean. An elevator gives you access to upper floor.Very nice staff. Excellent breakfast with crêpes and pancakes. For dinner we recommend Le Galon Ar Breish inside the BestWestern in Fougeres."

"This was a last minute booking but the owners responded almost immediately, great response. I receive a warm welcome from the owners, Very friendly. The cottage has everything you could ask for. It's on a farm location with views and animals on the doorstep. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge with wood burner and french and english tv, I will be rebooking to take to family on our next visit."
