"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"The family are lovely. Sitting around the pond was very peaceful. We booked the evening meal for €25 per head. Excellent value for money. Beautifully cooked by madam on the premises. Breakfast was also very good. "

"Great accommodation ! a petite chateau, beautifully decorated ,big room ,immaculately clean, wonderful host nothing was to much trouble,great breakfast everything home made or bio..a perfect spot to tour the chateaux of the loire from.situated on a very quite road ,we slept very well ...im very fussy but everything was excellent so i am going to give it 10/10,,thank you for a great stay,we will be back"

"Chez Charitha is a lovely B & B in the centre of the pretty little town of Azay-le-Rideau, a couple of minutes’ walk from the chateau (well worth a visit). Charitha himself is the perfect host: welcoming, helpful and very generous. He greeted us with drinks and snacks (every welcome after a long drive), and gave us lots of helpful tips on restaurants, parking and places to visit. We made very good use of the good quality bikes that he makes freely available to guests. Breakfasts are delicious:...
