"We enjoyed the relaxing location just outside Le Molay Littry. It's 50mins from Caen in countryside like Cornwall, but without the people! We weren't aware it's right next to a cow farm but they weren't a bother, but there are a lot of flies,which we got used to. The house is a little sparsely furnished but spacious. The bedrooms could do with a chest of drawers each and there's room for them. Downstairs is a bit minimalist too. Some soft furnishings would break up the noise a bit. The town...

"Nadine me us on arrival. She speaks only French, we speak only English. However, with the use of a translation app on her phone we managed. She provided a thorough explanation of the features of the property. The property was spotlessly clean with a really well equipped kitchen. There is a beautifully landscaped garden and it is fully secure, important as we had two small children with us. There are many WW2 historical sites within easy reach, also true of beaches. "A great place to stay. Close enough to the (amazing) beach that if you forget something it's no hassle to pop back and grab it. Really good location for accessing loads of WW2 sites (for when you have a WW2 obsessed teenager!), and some really good cycling routes nearby. "No meet& Greet. Just collect key in Bayeux and drop off in Bayeux on completion. Very inconvenient. The property description made no ref. to the living accom. being at 1st floor level up what can only be described at best as an extremely demanding staircase up which, on arrival we had somehow to drag our luggage and at the end of our holiday get our cases down. Three level changes as soon as you opened the entrance door! Toilet and bathroom facilities are at ground floor level so you can imagine...
