"Location is ideal for being in central Madrid. However the hotel is dated in terms of features and bedrooms We complained about the shower as the water was extremely hot and would then fluctuate with the pressure. Maintenance said there was nothing wrong. The WiFi didn’t work at times and there was no indication of when it would be restored. Lastly, there is not much sitting in the lobby and if you chose to sit around the hotel bar, just to rest or wait for other guests to join you, you must purchase something to be seated."

"Rude staff: The hotel's rooftop bar is open to the public and - by the staffs' own comments - have had issues with unpleasant "clientele" (not paying bar tabs, restaurant bill etc). You can expect to be interrogated by doormen whether you're actually staying at the hotel, be required to pay the food bill before you've even started eating and elbowed out of the way to restock the buffet breakfast. Rooftop bar: Food is genuinely awful, probably akin to a microwave meal. Any ambience is destroyed by tourists thrusting their camera over your shoulder to get a better photo of the view. It's also incredibly busy. Pool isn't open until June, so bear that in mind if that's a factor in choosing this hotel."

"Very clean, lovely rooms. Bar area is lovely. Only issue is they don’t have enough staff in the lobby bar area, drinks orders take a very long time and often things were forgotten. Staff were not attentive enough in the lobby area. We often had to ask twice for our drinks."

"Great location. Great clean rooms. It falls short on condition. Old door mats at main entrance, scuffed doors outside elevators, need to replace corridor walls. Need more staff at breakfast, need to have more quantity of certain items at breakfast, such as avocado, which was a long wait. "
