"The gentleman of the house could not be more gracious. His English is superb ( my French is nonexistent ) so he was able to help me make plans for all my area touring. Located about .5 hour from towns,beachs, parks.... There is onsite parking. The property was completely renovated 2016 and I mean everything. King room is spacious by any standard with a beautifully appointed bathroom and separate dressing room.Outdoor space has options for shade, sun, lounge. Picnic pack, spa, sauna, and dinner...

"Lovely 16C old house in the centre of Saintes bags of character and very friendly, informative hosts. A little rickety due to its age but this just adds to the charm. Bottom line is that we would be happy to visit again."

Special thanks to Paul who couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect, even set up a big screen projector so we could enjoy the rugby. "We had a fabulous one night stay as a family at the end of August. The owner was very welcoming and patient with my rusty French! Accommodation was very spacious and clean and it was lovely to sit outside in the evening sun listening to the animals. My daughter particularly liked the cute guinea pigs! We ate in the restaurant for dinner which was delicious and breakfast was included. A great place to stay for visiting the Marais Poitevin! "

"The accommodation is in a beautiful spot and provided everything we wanted for a very comfortable stay. Couldn't fault anything. Owner has been very thoughtful in ensuring her guests enjoy their time in this beautiful place. Definitely 5 stars from us. Didn't want to leave. "
