"We could not have been happier with the apartment . The owners were so helpful and generous, providing us with plenty of excellent guidance and advice . The apartment itself was spotless, light and airy with a lovely balcony and very close to the city centre and the beach, whilst being located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. There is a very good grocery shop just next door and a beautiful park . We could not recommend it highly enough."

"We had a fantastic stay at Henri’s place. He meticulously went through everything and offered assistance, if we should require it, during our stay. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and very clean. The place is easy walking distance from the harbour. There is also a supermarket just up the the street. When we were leaving, Henri kindly drove me to the station as I had recently had 2 knee replacements. I would definitely stay here again if I was coming back to La Rochelle (I hope u do because...

"We really enjoyed staying in Maison Bambou. Immaculately clean, well furnished with parking just outside. Quiet, secure location and easy to get to both Le Bois Plage and St Martin. Only about 20 metres to designated off cycle tracks. Isabelle is delightful and helpful. "

"Appartement très propre et moderne. 20 minutes à pied du centre de La Rochelle, dans un quartier très calme (même avec le camping pour les camping-cars juste à côté). Le balcon est un grand plus et bien situé. Nous aurions aimé un petit four et un grille-pain mais sinon il y avait assez d'utensiles. Et MERCI à Hervé pour nous avoir rencontrer à "nos heures" pour le check-in et check-out. Et parking privé vraiment apprécié. Nous serions restés plus longtemps si nous l'avions pu."

After translating message I rand the contact. The person on the other end of the call then explained the property was not ready and still dirty from previous occupancy. "Great view of the marina"

"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "
