"My husband & I had an absolutely wonderful time at Le Clos des Anges ! Gael & Sofie were so welcoming and went over & above, especially when we had a minor health issue to ensure we found appropriate medical care. They speak English quite well & we felt grateful as we were in their county speaking limited French. The amenities were pristine, and Gael delivered a delicious French breakfast daily which we enjoyed in the gorgeous courtyard. Gael provided a website when checking in of local restaurants and activities. The restaurants were amazing and we went to Terrasses de Pommiers twice - it was excellent!!! Our room was very very spacious, and the bathroom as well with double sinks & extensive counter space. Very comfy king bed ! We had dinner delivered the last night via Gael’s resturant connections and it was hot & tasty. The location in the heart of the vineyards was stunning, yet easily accessible to many nearby villages and restaurants. This is an extraordinary stay in Bagnols, and we plan to return again with family & friends as it is also perfect for groups ! "

The chef’s menu choices in the restaurant are masterfully prepared and served with grace and elegance along with a lovely selection of wines. "Good for one night stay. Upstairs more modern then down stairs. Down stairs looked tired. Limited restaurants to eat though there were snack shacks dotted about. Would be nice to have a few restaurants and bars that were open past 7pm. It was very hot during our stay but no air con. Had to have windows open but became noisy until 11pm. Kettle was old and the element was peeling. Not cork screw or bottle opener for any alcohol refreshments."

"Stay here you won’t regret it.Fabulous hidden gem. What can I say? Just blown away by this hotel. Set in a breathtaking area which is just like being back in Florence. The hosts were just delightful and we loved listening a reading the picture book to how this family owned home was renovated to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and filled with local made goods. We stayed in the plum room which was just beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Our only regret was not staying longer. We hope to return thank you "
