"I stayed at Elizabeth’s upstairs apartment with my husband and 5yo twins. Street parking was always available and the beach/pier was a short walk. We cooked in the kitchen and did laundry in the space provided. We used the beach toys, beach mats and umbrella. We opted to rent bikes as we wanted tandem bikes for our children which was an easy walk from the apartment, but beach bikes and helmets were available. "This house was recently remodeled and they thought of everything a guest might need. Beds and furniture are very comfortable, the kitchen and two bathrooms well-equipped. The push button door lock is easy to use, no fumbling with a key and lock box. Parking is easy, and the location could not be better. Grocery stores are close by, and a CVS is right around the corner."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. It was better than we had expected by far. The property was clean and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable as well. The location was absolutely ideal. We used it as a 2 night stop for a cruise and didn’t have a vehicle but it was easy walking distance to both the beach and 2nd Street shops and restaurants. "Property was clean, very spacious. We had more room than we actually needed! Host provided shampoo, conditioner, soap. Also laundry detergent was available. These are extra added touches that make the stay even better. When traveling by air it is hard to pack every single item you may need. We ended up walking from the Hollywood bowl after the concert bc it was hard to get an Uber. The walk was safe and very easy! Easy drive to Los Angeles attractions, except for Universal Studio Hollywood during morning rush hour, since it is located at the other end of the city, so plan ahead. "Overall a very nice place in a very nice neighborhood. Minor inconveniences; we weren't able to close the slide door to the smallest bathroom, and; we couldn't get the outside controls to the garage door to work. Everything else was great. Thank you."

"This was the perfect mini romantic weekend getaway from the busy city with such generous and sweet hosts (and their precious dogs!). The gorgeous backyard was spacious with so much room to lounge by the fire pits, run around, hit golf balls by the net, bbq, and much more. The pool and jacuzzi are both charming and relaxing, perfect for what we needed in a getaway. The guesthouse itself was also spacious and lovely, with plenty of room to feel comfortable and relaxed. "We visited Malibu for the Pepperdine graduation. It is 5 minutes away from the school. The property is comfortable, clean, spacious, and minimalistic. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The host was very responsive. You can see the ocean from the kitchen windows which means you can also hear the cars on the PCH. This was the perfect spot for us and would stay here again."
