"Fantastic location, clean, quiet and charming. We really enjoyed our stay, and appreciated daily cleaning and bed arrangment service. Loads of good places to eat around, and on a rainy day, itvwas very close to the Nishiki market. "

"Wish we stayed for longer as this Ryokan was amazing. Although we only stayed for one night, the staff were incredibly welcoming despite us being gaijin and the room came prepared with traditional tea and sweets. The ryokan is opposite a large temple which was amazing to have in the doorstep. We will definitely return (hopefully for longer)"

"Lovely traditional style hotel! The room has a very nice homely feeling and the beds are very comfortable. The location is also 15 minutes walking distance from Kyoto Station and is right across the road from the serene Nishi Hongan-ji Temple."
