"We chose this location because of our plan to do several hikes, as well as visit the various Locks and Isle of Sky. It is a great location, though plan ahead and get your groceries in Fort William as the shop in Fort Augustus is pretty sparse. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We had a little problem with the wi-fi, but it was tolerable (since we weren't there to be on our devices). We also had the stovetop go out on us. The property managers were right on it. "The stay was nice and the views were absolutely gorgeous but there were a few hiccups. Check out on VRBO showed 11 am but it was actually 10 am. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was delicious and again, the views couldn’t be beat."

"A superb week exploring the local area and Skye. What made it was the huge array of wildlife on our doorstep and back garden! Porpoises and Sea Otters in the Loch, all manner of shore wading birds, plus loads of garden birds. The best bit is definitely the Pine Martens and Badgers who visit every evening! And keep an eye out for the gorgeous bats who pay a visit too. The house is absolutely perfect, everything you can possibly need, plus a wee bottle of Whisky to enjoy. 10/10 for us, thank you...
