"An older property with some quirks, but the location is ideal, and the staff wonderful! The in-room mini onsen a gift after a day of skiing. A close walk to all the fun restaurants and shops of Hirafu, and the ski in/ out access is ideal. Shout out to the front desk team who answered all questions and helped us book a car at the last minute when uber flaked."

"This property is extremely well managed. The hotel itself is rather dated and during our stay the outdoor onsen was not accessible. However, the staff (from management to server) do their utmost to accomodate their guests. We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the service to the fullest."

"I was a impeccable stay from start to finish. The room, the facilities and specially the service was better than expected. I highly recommend."

"Everything was amazing. The place was exceptionally clean and the staff was very helpful. The level of service I received, from the concierge to the receptionists, was first class. I will definitely stay at the Akazora again."
