"I really enjoyed my time at Dark Horse. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and helped out in many ways, both big and small. Breakfasts and dinners were good and the lounge/dining room was a comfortable place to relax after riding. It was great value for the money. "Stay the night in dome tent , don't have private toilet & bathroom, must use public instead , almost 50,000 yen/night shound have private toilet and bathroom "

"Lovely staff who genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Very comfortable beds in basic but clean rooms. Great common area with nice amenities. We felt very at home. While the location is great for skiing - lift is right across the street, it was very hard to get into town, to grocery, etc. "
