"Great location set within the boulders. The rooms were set in blocks of 6 - we had a mountainside view which felt a bit oppressive as the only view was of the close mountain rock - in retrospect would have preferred the view across the open landscape. Staff were friendly and food was good. "

"The power to our unit went out multiple times. Nice to wake up to a giraffe within 20 meters of the tent. Shower water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Meals were expensive. Bring your own soap and shampoo."

"Super special camping site with access to swimming pool to cool off in hot afternoon sun. Watched sunset from small rock hill located near campsite. Really well thought out campsite with private toilet and shower. Showered under the stars, what an experience! Best campsite in Namibia that we stayed at. Very special place. "

"The worst thing was that Wotif sold me accommodation that did not exist. For a group of ten, that was a problem. The staff were very helpful in sorting something else. Wotif was a near disaster. Property has moved and is under construction. Taking tht into account, it was excellent. We had dinner. We had two people who were gluten free and told them. Part of dinner was not gluten free, but they did then prepare something appropriate."

"Pure heaven after camping 5days, with dust everywhere. Staff very helpful with arranging an extra room for our friends. Very good dinner and breakfast Buffet."

"This is a wonderful property and hotel. We stayed on top of the plateau in an incredible cottage called “Heaven’s Gate”. It is a bit of a trek to get to and from but worth every bit of the effort. Has a lovely wood fire heated spa, total seclusion, and incredible outlook. There is also a smaller restaurant on top of the plateau which we ate at each night. The hotel at ground level is also terrific. "

"We experienced both the camp (one night) and the lodge (two nights). Compared to its newer, quieter and the more expensive neighbor, the camp was more lively and fun. We liked the staff at the camp better. The good looking front desk girl and the young maintenance guy helped us big time by making us a special power outlet adapter without which I would not be able to use our camera and phones. A big thank you! "

"Amazing views at the lodge, and amazing activities. We went on the rhino tracking activity and it was incredible: we saw a rhino mom and her baby, and we actually followed them on foot for a little while. We also loved the guided walk & sundowner drive, which both had unbelievable views. Even sitting on the patio at the lodge, the views were stunning. Highly recommend this place. Only thing to be aware of is that the internet doesn’t work in the individual rooms, only at the main lodge (and even there it’s spotty). However, with such views you don’t need internet!"

"Wow…this was by far the best place we’ve stayed in Namibia. The owners were very friendly and sat down and chatted with us for hours over a bonfire in the evening (they mentioned they offer this for all their guests). They have only a small tourist portion of their business (just 7 rooms); the rest is a working farm. It was absolutely fascinating to hear about how they live on and manage their farm. My husband and I felt like we got to know how real Namibians live, rather than just having a tourist experience at an impersonal large resort. Also, the food was unbelievably good and fresh! They actually hunted the eland that they cooked us for dinner, and they grew the vegetables they served us. The view from the room was also gorgeous; we loved watching the pink and blue sunset colors from our balcony. The rooms are up on a hill so you get a great view of the surrounding area. Overall this stay has been one of my favorite Namibia experiences. Seriously cannot recommend this place highly enough! One note: the Google maps directions aren’t accurate, so be sure to look for the Onduri signs once you get close."
