"Awkward. It can sleep up to six guests but ideally it is for 3 or 4 as there is only ONE washroom. At the same time, if it is only for two of you then it can get pricey. If you have older family members, don't bring them as the stairs are steep and no washroom on the upper floor. Also no good restaurants or shops nearby and no BBQ on the deck. It is secluded but not private becuase you can hear your neighbors. Only plus side is that bedding is very clean. I would not come back."
"Staffs are friendly and dinner was delicious. Spacious room with in-room onsen. Self parking too. Special thanks to 女将 Tomita san and Chef for the wonderful dinner experience. Also a shout out for Gurung, thanks!"
"This place is literally heaven. It’s very luxurious. The staff is amazing. The food is impeccable. The chef literally changes the menu every day every morning every night.
The most amazing thing was my room. It was incredible. It had an outside hot Springs the living room the bathroom and the private sauna is just amazing super clean super super clean. They give you robes Japanese where to go outside Japanese where to go to dinner and breakfast. The outside is clean air and you can visit the small village town where only Japanese tourist come there’s no foreigners which is amazing. It’s just very authentic and there’s a live volcano and that’s why there’s a natural hot spring. I would love to go in the winter as well."
"Room was steaming hot (as most rooms, trains, restaurants, everywheres are in Japan) and would not cool so we had to open the window which meant listening to the trains and the accompanying announcements all night. Nice little underground parking lot amd easy access to the town on foot - or train station if you travel that way. "
