"The hotel is brand new, it was open in December 2024. It has 3 restaurants, a buffet offering asian, indian and international food, a great italian restaurant with great pizza, and one of the best authentic thai restaurant with the most amazing staff. "1 area is not updated yet. We stayed to first 2 night a house without wifi and no update yet. Furniture was old and many items not in the house. When we got a transfer to the other side with the upgraded house everything was perfect Food and buffet is great, good staff. Recommend all-inclusive"

"Fantastic 5 star resort. 24 hour concierge service. Everything is walking distance. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Beautiful property. Buffet food is excellent. "I don't understand the people who give less than 4-star reviews to this holiday destination. They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "

"Perfect place to stay if you have a late flight out of Ventana. As most seaplanes have no air conditioning, you will arrive in Male sweaty and icky. If you have a 4-7 hour window from seaplane arrival and check in, spend the less than $100 to get a shuttle to/from the hotel to chill, shower and change into airplane outfit. Makes the trip back less of a hassle."
