Imperial Hotel Kuching

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (689)
"The hotel interior is clean and spacious, so was the room. The breakfast buffet spread was superb. What I didn't like - the exterior needs upkeep, as in the windows. The glass is full of dirt and rain spots...gives an otherwise lovely view out, a not so lovely view. When it rains (and it did rain a lot when I was there), the rain drops made loud splattering noises on the metal mullions (the horizontal window frames). The extra large spaces in the room and unblocked views made up for that, I...

Citadines Uplands Kuching

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (450)
"We had a lovely apartment with a great view of the city and mountains. The room was very spacious and in an acceptable condition. We were surprised that breakfast was served to the room, rather than in a restaurant. There didn't seem to be any options so we weren't able to eat the breakfast since it didn't align with our dietary requirements. One thing I didn't like was that someone rings your door at 7am until you open the door to receive your breakfast. This was a bit disruptive to our stay."

Damai Beach Resort

3.5 star property

The Marian Boutique Lodging House

2.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (99)
"Really lovely place to stay in Kuching in walking distance of the waterfront And with plenty of character. There are some great views from the communal areas and a lovely swimming pool. The staff were helpful and the breakfast nice but basic. The surroundings are quite noisy so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Would highly recommend this place to stay!"

Permai Rainforest Resort

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (71)
"Permai is fantastic, we had a treehouse and enjoyed waking up to monkeys and bird song each morning. It is a perfect place to just relax and do nothing or book some tours from. The staff were all lovely and helpful, if driving us themselves to catch a late afternoon boat trip. We extended our stay another night as we loved it so much."

Cove 55

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (60)
"I have to say the pool area with the mangroves in the background is stunning , especially at low tide. Within five minutes of our arrival we saw a pair of
sea
eagles and a collared Kingfisher. The restaurant had a great range of options, cooked to a high standard and the staff were very friendly. The room was large and airy with a decent balcony. My only issue is with the glass doors on the toilet and shower. No one wants to have to send their other half onto the balcony so they can use...

The Culvert

3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (57)
"Let's start with the positive aspects: 1 Beautiful setting on a west facing hill overlooking the
sea
2 Staff is friendly and very helpful Now to the not so good: 1 The culvert concept is obviously minimalist but even so the space could have been better organised 2 The first culvert we occupied for one night was sloping the wrong way so the water from the shower ran away from the drain 3 The aircon was provided with a non original remote that could only turn it on or off but couldn't set the...

The Village House

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (91)
"Village House is a restful haven. The rooms are charming and comfortable. The shared spaces are welcoming. And the pool is heavenly. Warm, friendly staff can't do enough for you. The location is a bit remote if you don't have a car. It's not too far from Sarawak Cultural Village, but you'll need a taxi/grab to eat anywhere else or explore the area. "
