Walk along cozy village roads and through beautiful forests with berries and mushrooms and explore the nature reserve, Herberts ängar (Herbert's meadows). Hike or ride around Lake Skagern or try a dressage ride through picturesque Värmland. The location of the house between the lakes is also a good starting point for paddling and fishing trips. Other excursion destinations include the town of Kristinehamn and the legendary medieval ruins on the island of Saxholmen, which you can reach by kayak or boat.
