The Boondocker Cabin is a warm, rustic retreat tucked into 20 private acres at the base of Rabbit Ears Pass. This spacious restored 1920s cabin is part of Rabbit Ears Basecamp, a small collection of cabins with big sky views, quiet nights, and room to roam.

Inside, the main floor has a cozy living area with a gas fireplace, a full kitchen, a queen bedroom, and a bathroom. Upstairs, an open sleeping loft offers three queen beds with space to stretch out. There’s also a pull-out queen sofa in the living room for extra guests.

Kids will love the Little Tracks Loft, a tucked-away nook filled with toys and books. Step outside to take in the sunset or head to the shared Hitchin’ Post clubhouse to soak in the hot tub, shoot pool, or sit by the fire.
