"This hotel is a real gem. We had a beautiful suite with a gorgeous view of the lake. We never had dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was fantastic - lots of options and all delicious. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We also each had a Triglav Massage which was amazing. It’s a short walk down to the lake (though it’s uphill on the way back) - approx. 30min walk by the lake into town. We really enjoyed our stay here. "

"We loved the traditional nature of the property and of course its position in relation to the lake. It is really handy for everything and the views off the balcony are excellent. I enjoyed a nice swim although it is just a pool for relaxation really and not large enough for proper swimming. Hot tub with a view lovely though. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we wanted to explore the town, so can’t comment on food more generally. A couple of lovely little touches that we really appreciated - a little leaving gift at reception and small postcards on reception that that hotel will mail for you free of charge. Overall a really nice stay - we would come again. "

"This is a wonderful little hotel in Kranjska Gora. My wife and I were traveling through Slovenia on vacation/holiday and looking to stay in the general area of Bled but avoid the crowds and potentially higher expense. This was a great find. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They provided abundant information and suggestions about the area. They gave us a room that was comfortable and had a good view. The breakfast was excellent - a broad buffet selection with additional kitchen-cooked items (eggs, etc.). It was delicious and very filling and satisfying. The hotel was quiet, clean and well-maintained. It appeared that ski season ended one or two weeks prior and the hotel was not crowded. We struck up friendly conversations with other guests and got additional perspectives for touring. As we were leaving to head south, we got the heads-up from the proprietors that the mountain pass that we intended to travel was closed because of a recent snowstorm. They gave us alternate suggestions plus a map with good directions. They went above and beyond. We HIGHLY recommend Garni Hotel Miklic. We REALLY enjoyed our stay.
