"We arrived in Hydra at 9.30pm in an epic thunderstorm A kind person on the street helped us find the hotel in the wind and the rain and when we got there the manager had our room warmed up waiting for us. Staff were so kind and we loved our stay. Can,t recommend Achilleas enough and the whole island in general! Wonderful!"

"The property is very unique and charming. All staff and dining room staff are exceptional However, as Gale force winds closed the port to all ferries we had to stay two additional nights. The hotel charged us MORE than our original booking price. We feel we were taken advantage of and very disappointed with the management in an unexpected situation. Not very happy with the management of this property"

"The location of the hotel is superb. Walking to the town center and shops and restaurants was easy. The room was very clean and the view phenomenal. Grounds were very nice. The breakfast had a good variety and there was ample parking at all times."
