The room is spacious with a full-size fridge and the spa amenities are fantastic. However, the rooms either do not have air-conditioning or the air conditioning is not strong. We had to change rooms twice to get one that worked. I would encourage this hotel to have a room dedicated to hold luggage for early check-in.

Nice resort to get away from Bishkek

The property is located in a really good spot good to be away from the city of Bishkek. However, the properties still in development construction going on certain amenities are missing and it’s not very well. The staff is new, not as experienced as such simple services are lacking.

we arrived at the hotel two hours before check-in. They kept our bags behind the desk as they did not have a specified room for luggage. I would encourage them to make one. we went to our room and the AC was not working. The staff was very willing to switch our rooms. However, in the second room, the AC was not working as well so they moved us to the third room. The AC in this room worked, however it was not very strong. The spa amenities are fantastic, especially at night when the air is cool and the pools are warm. There are also saunas and steam rooms as well as an indoor pool. We really enjoyed the spa so we stayed an extra night. The food was very good, especially the free breakfast. The place is clean, but the rooms are basic. It does include a full-size fridge.

Mountain View Hot Spring Resort – A True Hidden Gem My stay at Mountain View Hot Spring Resort was nothing short of magical. The hot springs felt incredibly rejuvenating, and you can truly feel the health benefits with every soak. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuine. It’s clear the staff care deeply about guests’ comfort and well-being. And the breakfast? Simply unforgettable. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—it was the perfect start to each day. If you’re looking for a serene escape that nourishes body and soul, this resort is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back.

The night I stayed there was a wedding which made sleep impossible for nearly all of the rooms so I chose one of the few,rooms on the back side. They gave me room 201 which turned out to be a nightmare. The kitchen's exhaust fan is just outside the window. With the window closed it was noticeable but open the window,and it sounded like a jet engine. No hotel should ever have a room like this one. The spring pools are nice but they do play the same music over and over throughout the day. There is no public transport to the hotel but you can take a bus to Koy Tash and the walk is about an hour from there. Overall not great value for the money and as others have mentioned you can only use the pools until 12 on the day of checkout without paying the day fee. It seems a bit unfair.

Ok hotel, so-so resort/spa

This hotel lived up to the "mountain view" part of the name really well, not so much the resort/spa part. It had very friendly staff but they were overworked and somewhat ineffective, partly due to a large tour group festival in the grounds that coincided with our stay. The restaurant food and service was very good the first night but more limited, much delayed and less tasty the second. The room was large but too warm, with no aircon remote - when I requested one I was told "it's only used for heating" (it was a heat pump capable of doing either). The bed was a little too firm, making sleep difficult with the heat, and noise of the floor fan. As for the "spa" offerings, the hot pools by the river were closed for maintenance and we couldn't use the swimming pools because our room lacked the bathrobes required to venture forth. I asked twice at reception for those and both times was told they'd be delivered, but it never happened. Finally, for those with accessibility issues, there's lots of steps just to get to reception, and no lift. All in all, improvement is needed to justify the "resort" description and associated price. But the potential is definitely there.
