"The experience was nothing short of fabulous. Ms. Sushmita at the front desk assisted us with a seamless checkin experience and explained about the facilities of the property along with the benefits of Leela DISCOVERY / GHA DISCOVERY membership. She also assisted in early checkin as we reached the property quite early and with extra time during checkout. She took care of my special request arranging for a small cake as it was my wife's birthday. The presentation of the cake was fabulous when it was delivered to our room. During our stay we tried the food (in room and dine in) from The Terrace restaurant and that too was fantastic. Interaction with Mr. Raj who assisted us with his excellent serving capabilities at the restaurant, is highly appreciated. Furthermore the interaction with Sous Chef Mr. Debnath was equally amazing and insightful to the say the least. Golf carts had lesser than 5 minutes waiting time throughout the property, which adds to the brilliant experience. The overall experience at The Leela Kovalam was fantastic and we'd love to revisit the property during our upcoming travel plans to Kovalam & Thiruvananthapuram. Kudos to the entire team at the property for showcasing hospitality that sets new standards for the industry to follow. Thank you very much for making our stay so memorable."

"Spotlessly clean hotel, attentive staff nothing is a problem. Room fine, A/C and ceiling fan , TV which you can access Prime and Netflix if you have an account. Wet room shower with plenty of hot water, some rooms have balconies, so check when booking.Complimentary breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. Hotel located on the beach, beach is worked by the local fishermen upto about 11:00 most days, very little hassle from beach hawker’s. Four or five restaurants within easy walking, loads more a tuk- tuk away. Mixed nationality guests including Indian . Many guests have been returning for many years , understandable. Experienced manager on duty every day with very capable staff in attendance. A most enjoyable stay"

"It is a place full of character. Delightful staff (limited English with some did not take away from their kindness and personal care). The building is all traditional Kerala, lots of dark wood, and a very amusing lift playing Tamil music. My balcony faced the fires of coconut palms, with birds occasionally calling out, but the dominant sound was the breakers as the beach is 20 metres down the lane. The room was spacious and comfortable: a bit old fashioned so this is not a modern smart business hotel. It is much better. I really enjoyed my stay. The worst thing was the feeble WiFi. Plenty of storage and the bathroom entirely adequate. Its proximity to the beach, the quieter end, is a bonus. "
