"Room was clean and bed comfortable. Guests need to be aware that the bed is up against the window one side so someone has to climb over. Shower and toilet areas are circular and all glass which some might not like. The toilet glass walls are NOT clear, but the shower is however there is a curtain you can close across the room. You can have fun changing the room lighting colours...after all you are in Amsterdam. Checkin and checkout staff on hand to assist guests if they require it and all very friendly. The control pad in our room seemed a little slow compared to previous visits (this was our 3rd). Excellent location being a few minutes walk from Door A at the airport terminal. There is a covered walkway BUT it isn't that wide if windy and raining plus there are 3 sections where you are not covered when crossing tiny exit roads. We have never encountered traffic so nothing to worry about unless its very heavy rain. Bar is popular and has a good buzz. Lots of seating areas although one of the sofa's near the TV area was starting to look tired and in need of a little maintenance, but nothing that bad to put you off."

"Good location! There is a handy tram stop right outside that takes you into the centre of Amsterdam in 20 minutes - a great way to get around the city. The room was comfortable, only a shower in the bathroom however. The breakfast buffet was 10/10!"

"The property has some issues which are we were told IHG policy. For example there is no way to communicate with the front desk as there is no phone in the room. Therefore in case of emergency ' one could get ill ' and have no way to communicate. When we asked the question in this regard the person on duty stated if you get sick there is nothing to be done. This is Company policy. RIDIULOUS ! Another example we needed some additional towels. The only way to get these I had to take the elevator to the lobby and ask. This is true for any request. Most of the staff was very helpful, however as an example: We stayed for 6 nights. One day we arrived back at the hotel at 3:00 PM to find the room had not been cleaned. I went to the down from the 10th floor to ask for cleaning. The person on duty stated ' we have many persons checking in today so we prepare these rooms before guests' rooms. You will have to wait. No compassion ! Not even a response such as ' let me see what we can do to expedite your request."
