Possible communication issues: The woman who greeted us had a difficult time explaining where to park, and did not ask for payment. This was due to my low proficieny in German coupled with her ability to speak English. In addition, I expected her to ask for payment or let me know that they already took...

"Absolut tolle Pension an den weinbergen der Mosel. Zimmer sehr gepflegt und ausreichend groß. Uhriger Weinkeller der zum verweilen einlädt. Vorzügliches Essen, vom Chef selber zubereitet. Die Weine sehr sehr lecker. Man merkt das die Familie den Betrieb lebt. Sehr freundlich und zuvor kommend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal einen Urlaub dort verbringen. "

"Basic, but great accomodation! Everything was very clean and in nice condition. There are no staff to greet you and many stairs with no lift, but this was not an issue for us (I say it only to make it clear for people reading) There is also a kitchen downstairs to cook your own meals."

I wish my room looked the same as the room pictured in the ads. mine looked "older". my room was very clean and I liked having the kitchenette. I think the instructions to enter the building could be a little clearer. I was quite jetlagged, and it took me a while to figure out which of the three keypads to use to enter the building. Just tell people to use the small black keypad, and also use the same code to enter your room as...

"Wonderful stay and very clean! Very Fun to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Cochem. Only caution is there are lots of cigarrette smokers in Cochem city so the smoke comes through open windows. "
