The chef is simply the best and out of this world--so elegantly presented and delicious at the same time--best rice and fish in the area. The hotel has therapeutical spa--may explain why cancer rate in the area is half of Japan's average with the % of residents over 90-year-old is 6 times Japan's average."

"The hotel is well located right by the beach, you can see both the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast is excellent with king crabs legs. Wifi is fast and room is clean and roomy and very comfortable. Reception speaks English well. The onsen has beach view. We highly recommend this hotel with great restaurant for dinner as well nearby Hokaido rolling sushi restaurant."

"English translation follows. I recently stayed at the Yukai Resort. One issue my group ran into was that there is no wheelchair ramp from outside into the lobby, and we required additional assistance to get into the building. However, everything else was great. The staff are friendly, breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing, the Japanese-style rooms were wonderful, and the onsen and public baths were superb. Thank you to the staff for their flexibility and assistance in meeting our unique needs during our stay. One final note: this area of Japan does not have a lot of English speakers, so if you are an English-only traveler you may have difficulty at this location."
