"We stayed three nights (family of four) in Casper’s boat. The location is perfect, short walk to/from Centraal Station and easy to get to everything within the city. Casper’s communication was top-notch and the accommodations on the boat were exactly as advertised. Highly recommended. "

Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

"Where to start??? Gerben (and Rodinde) was the ultimate host, the houseboat was incredible, and the location was exceptional. We didn't know what to expect since the property was brand new to VRBO, so you can imagine our surprise and delight that EVERY detail had been thought through. From heated floors to plenty of kitchenware to a lighted mirror in the bathroom (not to mention the fancy Japanese toilet and sauna!), we felt very pampered. "Our stay on the houseboat was a really enjoyable and unique experience! The boat itself was surprisingly comfortable, with ample space for our group. We particularly loved the novelty of living on the water. Despite being located near a major street, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful, which was a pleasant surprise. "What a treat to stay on this houseboat on the canal. The early mornings and evenings were especially calm and peaceful. It was definitely a great way to experience Amsterdam. In addition, the host was wonderful, it’s a short walk to public transit, plenty of places to eat nearby, or you may just decide to sit on the deck and watch the world go by. "
