I had a ground floor room facing the street so it's a little noisy as people walk past, so if you can, get a room on the other side of the corridor. "The location is ideal for exploring downtown Reykjavik. It´s located on a square called Hlemmur that is on the main shopping / walking street in downtown Reykjavik called Laugavegur. There are restaurants all around the apartment hotel and a supermarket across the street. There is also great burger place and a bar on the groundfloor. "The hotel is great, but so hard to find. It was my 5th night in the city. If youve been to Reykjavik you know thats long enough to have explored pretty much the whole thing... and I still couldnt find it!The check-in instructions were wrong. And when I called to ask for help he talked to me like I was an idiot- totally insulting. Once I got past the check in everything was wonderful. The room was gorgeous with beautiful finishes. "My wife and I stayed here briefly before taking off on a tour of Iceland. The apartment was comfortable and we were thrilled to see basic kitchen amenities as well as public laundry facilities. Communication was excellent and they made us aware of the check in process and that no one would be present but it was super easy. The apartment is located in a very central area and we were able to walk to many places conveniently."

"Lets start with the bad, the bad is we stayed at 401 and there is no elevator so I had to carry our luggage all the way up to 4th floor. When we got to the room, took a shower and drain clogged right away which means they did not clean the drain down below properly. They were very attentive and very good at communicating so they took care and sent someone right away but unfortunately we could not let them in because we were so tired from our flight.
