"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tocen Goshoboh yesterday and would highly recommend it! We arrived around 2:20 PM, which was over 30 minutes before the official check-in time, but the hotel kindly let us check in early. We booked the Japanese-Style Standard Room with No Shower Room, including breakfast for two, at a very reasonable price of AUD 500. This traditional ryokan has an incredible 800-year history, and you can truly feel the depth of culture in every detail of its design and atmosphere. The Kinsen (golden hot spring) was especially memorable – perhaps because we visited during the off-season, I was lucky enough to enjoy the communal bath all to myself three times during our stay. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in a classic Japanese style. We also appreciated the traditional yukata robes provided – a lovely touch that added to the experience. Service was excellent. At check-in, the staff took the time to explain the facilities and house rules thoroughly and with great care. As for breakfast – while not overly abundant, it was thoughtfully prepared and reflected the elegance of traditional Japanese cuisine: simple, healthy, and refined. All in all, we had an exceptional stay. We’d love to return in the future and highly recommend this unique and historic ryokan to anyone visiting Arima Onsen."

"I will visit again. They are so kind, it rained when my mom and I visited. I had a lot of luggage, but more people helped me with my luggage first and checked out, and thank you so much for leaving a good impression on my mom and travel. I was moved by the visit with my boyfriend in October last year, so this trip was the second time, but I'm going to visit again this year!"

"The Daiwa Roynet Hotel, is a nice clean hotel, and has efficient staff on hand to assist with your needs. The property has 3 coin op laundry machines, vendong and micro wave ovens on some dloors, thiere is also a nice cafe (Holly's) attached to the hotel. It is situated half way between Himeji Station and Himeji Castle, of course Koko-en Garden, Himeji Museum of Art and a couple of temples and shrines are are also in the same area. There is an abundance of restaurants and cafes to choose from as well."

"Very nice hotel, close to the train station. Quiet in the rooms. The afternoon/night parking attendant very helpful giving suggestion sightseeing in the area. The beds were a little hard for me. Walking distance from Himeji castle. Other than that, the location was easy access to everything."
