Everything about the house and property was exactly as described although we didn’t believe it until we actually saw for our own eyes. "Overall it was a great stay. The house is as pictured with everything you need for a vacation with a small family. The kitchen was very well stocked and also had some leftover pantry staples from past guests. There were lots of leftover beach supplies — chairs, boogie boards, kid snorkels, beach toys — some in better shape than others. The bbq on the lanai was a nice bonus for dinners. The drawbacks, for us:The king bed in the master bedroom was VERY firm. At one point we tried adding the “extra mattress” from the closet, which was really just a flimsy foam pad, but it didn’t even help. The twin beds in the kids room were super creaky and my kid doesn’t even weigh that much.While the AC was wonderful and worked great, the filters were absolutely filthy. We were there during some major volcanic activity so that could be forgiven but it was quite the build up on all four units. The ice maker leaked while we were there and I got zero response from my message letting them know that was happening. The lack of response was more of an issue than the ice maker leaking. The long term tenant downstairs was lovely but as others have mentioned he is a smoker and it meant we couldn’t use our lanai or have our windows open sometimes. We could also hear his tv quite clearly even with windows closed and could distinctly hear when he sneezed, which seems absurd since I can’t hear someone sneeze downstairs in my own house. So just be aware that the floor/walls are quite thin. "

"Have never had a VRBO rental with as many amenities as this one. Paper towels, tissue boxes everywhere, soaps and cleaning supplies, and a pantry with some of the basics.The home was spotless, the linens were great, and the welcome book explained everything."

"The condo itself is a typical unit for the area. It is aged, but generally in decent condition. The king size bed is very comfortable. The kitchen supplies include a large assortment of good pans, many storage containers and ample silverware with most things that are normally provided. The ice maker in the full size fridge works very well. The tap water tastes good, so be sure to bring refillable water bottles to use during your stay. All appliances are in good working order, including the large capacity washer and dryer. I did not use the beach gear, but it seemed to be of better than average quality. The view from the lanai is very pleasant. It overlooks the golf course but has a large mesquite tree near the railing and a few other smaller trees just beyond that, providing a nice buffer and good privacy. Most rentals in the area do not have AC which usually isn’t a problem. The windows do need to be open most nights for comfortable sleeping. With that said, there is considerable road noise from Paniolo Avenue which is the main thoroughfare for the town. Ear plugs could be used, if comfortable enough. I used a white noise app on my phone to drown out the traffic. There are several loud motorcycles, souped up cars and utility trucks that begin as early as 4:30 am most days. There is also some early morning noise from the golf course grounds crew. "
