"I had a lovely stay here and would come again. I will say that while the property is clean and the staff take care of it, it does need a little lick of paint here and there but overall it is a beautiful location and a true place to relax and recoup. I was disappointed that there wasn't yoga classes as posted, but I was able to book a private class with a teacher, who was great. Booked with their masseuse a few times as she was WONDERFUL (Rose if I remember rightly) Handy swimming pool right outside my room (salt). And a little general store on site which after realizing that Plakias is a 15min drive away, was good to have on hand. Scuba diving in the cove was gorgeous and there was a little spot you could jump straight into the ocean near the main pool. The cove is not the beach however, the walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and up some very steep stairs. The view is amazing, but I'd recommend wearing solid walking shoes as there is loose gravel/rocks and the drop to the ocean is sheer. The entertainment was mediocre to be honest, and the location would benefit from a karaoke night in my opinion. All-inclusive does not include all drinks, beer and wine only. But the food was decent enough to not bother going into the town except for a treat. Great nudist beach nearby in Plakias, with regular beach down the road. Lovely little town. "

"Perfect! The Hotel is well maintained, spotlessly clean with warm friendly service. All rooms overlook the beach and Almyrida bay. Bed and Breakfast, with breakfast served at Almyrida Beach hotel (200m walk). Great choice of food and beverage of a high quality and friendly service (staff brilliant with our kids). You also have access to all facilities at Almyrida studios, beach and residences during stay including pools and bars. Location is footsteps from the beach with crystal clear water and Sandy beach with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas (€15 a day for two). Temperature of water is warm so a good substitute for the pool (also good for young kids as not deep). Multiple places to eat and drink throughout day and night (lots of great restaurants for night and beach bars/cafes during day), with all facilities decorated to high standard and clean. Also a few supermarkets and shops to cater for all your needs. We rented a car (Centauro - was really good, organised, efficient and friendly service with free shuttle to and from airport). We went to a water park in limnoupolis which was very good (30 mins), explored Chania Town with its Venetian harbour, which was spectacular (25 Mins) and visited Rethymno (45 mins) which was again very nice with Venetian harbour. The rest of the time we relaxed on beach/by the pool. A great family holiday, we will be back"

"Stayed for all inclusive family holiday. Initially thought lunch starting at 1pm was a little late for family with small children but we got used to it soon. Good facility and the room pool made a massive difference to us. Beach is in a good walking distance in the summer heat, too. "

"Great beachfront location. Good size rooms with comfy bedding. WiFi did not work in the room, and show curtain cuts shower space in half. Minor things really. Overall a good stay. "

"We chose this villa based on the amazing reviews from previous guests - and now we'll add our own. The location of the Villa is perfect high on the cliffs looking out over the sea. It feels remote, but it is only two minutes from Kefalas with a couple of tavernas and a mini market and 20 minutes drive from Georgioupoli and Almyrida with more amenities. The villa and grounds are both of a good size, with a superb infinity pool and the BBQ house/outdoor kitchen is a great addition. Being so high up, there was a cooling breeze to keep the edge off the heat as well which was a bonus. We could have spent all week at the Villa but there are plenty of lovely beaches and swim/snorkelling spots within easy reach - Octopus Bay was the best for a snorkel. It goes without saying a hire car is needed here and the track is rough but entirely manageable if you take it slowly. Communication with Pon was simple and easy, he helpfully advised where we could hire a boat (Antonis in Almyrida), the best supermarket etc. and directions were detailed and very helpful. Overall we had an amazing week in the most amazing Villa, thank you Pon!"
