Wake up and pull back the sliding plantation doors each morning, and you'll see the ocean waves crash onto the rocks just a few feet from your lanai. You'll be able to go right from having a cup of coffee into your fins and snorkel mask. With a full kitchen, free WiFi, and the water just steps away, this oceanfront condo will make you love every second of your stay in beautiful South Kauai!

This ground-floor condo is perfectly located to help you enjoy the best of Poipu. Popular sandy beaches, including Brennecke's and Poipu, are less than two miles away. Koloa is the historic town in the Poipu area where you can explore the shops and monuments, and get an amazing cup of local coffee. When it's time to eat, you'll be mere steps from the wonderful local restaurants. Less than a mile and a half down Hoonani Road is the Sheraton, where you can head out to the beach in front of the resort, dine at RumFire, or get a spa treatment. If you're feeling adventurous, you'll be able to book a zipline adventure or an ATV tour there as well.

Enjoyed being right on the ocean. The only downfall to this property was that it faces the east, so enjoying sunsets meant leaving the unit and walking around the building. Aside from that it was a great property! Spacious, clean, comfortable!

This place was just as described. We enjoyed the location--so perfect for sunrises on the porch and sunsets around the corner on the lawn. Close to so many great beaches. This place was wonderful to come home to each night. We hope to return!

The view is incredible, it is right next to one of the better restaurants on the island (The Beach House), and overall location is perfect for Poipu adventures!

We visited the island for a week. My wife and I enjoyed the north side for several days and then spent several days in Poipu. The property was very clean and right on the water. It was an older unit, but it was still very nice. It was convenient to beaches and local attractions and restaurants.

The room met our expectations. The location was great. We could watch turtles feeding in the water nearby. Around the corner we rented snorkeling equipment and couldn't believe all the beautiful we saw right there on the far side of the building. Surfers were always fun to watch while we were waiting for the sun to set. Then at sunset thousands of large green parakeets came flying in to roost in the palm trees. In the morning we could walk 10 minutes to Living Foods for a latte and pastries. It's a great location.

Excellent location with great views of "turtle cove." Sunrise views can be wonderful (weather permitting). The condo is basic but the location makes it worthwhile. It would be helpful if the patio screen would lock. We had problems getting into the condo using the long numerical code. Would prefer to be given the 4-digit lock box code to get the key.

The constant waves just right outside the condo contributed to amazing rest. The neighbors that came and went were friendly and entertaining. The location was central to so many beautiful places.

Beautiful views. Location is great if you have little ones and want to walk to keiki beach. Simple, organized, clean. The pipes running water to the ac unit at night are quite loud but we shut the closet door and used ear plugs and it worked out just fine.

We absolutely loved being so close to the ocean, and daily would watch for our sea turtle buddies! Amazing experience, would 100% book again!!!

Truly oceanfront. The sound of the ocean is the most soothing! Turtles, breaching whales, lovely walking areas. This was our 5th stay at Kuhio Shores. We’ll stay here again, for certain!

First visit to Kauai and we couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay. The view looking out into the bay was amazing…saw sea turtles everyday and some type of sting ray a few times. The unit was incredibly clean. Even though it doesn’t have central air, the two A/C units in the living room and bedroom kept the entire place cool.

We loved the view and having the water so close to the lanai. It was a great place for turtle watching as they fed off the lava rocks below the water. the condo is badly in need of some updating. Lighting in Kitchen was very poor. And the fridge needs to be replaced. It made loud popping noises all night and the icemaker is not working. The kitchen is well stocked but in need of a good wooden cutting board. Overall we enjoyed our stay and mainly because of the location and view, we would stay there again.
