Cute little condo

Such a cute little condo for a getaway. It has everything you'd need while on vacation, and a fun beach style. The patio is cute and the unit is close to all of the touristy spots that most people would want close access too in Poipu and would be perfect for a couple, or family with a little one. It was a little too small for our family of 4 (we have 2 boys in middle school), but since we spent most of our time out and about exploring the beautiful island and only slept in the condo, we were able to make it work. We did make breakfast a few times but ate all of our other meals out since there are so many great options in nearby towns. But did see lots of other guests cooking from their rooms and using the outside barbecue. The actual unit is on the very end of the property and looks out to a wall of tropical plants. You have to walk quite a ways to get to the beach access that is part of the property. We ended up never using it since it was too out of the way, and it was faster to drive to the local beach when the boys wanted to go for a quick swim. It's a cute little place, and we had the best trip and can't wait to visit Kauai again!

Lovely Stay

The unit was quiet and lovely. It was in nice section of the property and as a corner unit felt very private and it was very nice to sit on the lanai in the mornings.

The check in process was unclear. I did not receive any confirmation or check in instructions via Vrbo so I called the resort myself. The staff at the resort were very nice. The chickens were so noisy - not sure if there is a way to soundproof the home to avoid being awoken at 3 AM to their crowing.

Private getaway

Really nice, safe, spacious and clean. I loved doing yoga in the back yard. It is a large complex so be sure and orient yourself and remind drivers to enter via the East entrance. You can walk to any of the resorts next door very easily. You can really walk most places unless you want to do an activity like a helicopter ride so I did not need a car. I Ubered. I did try a delivery service for groceries via Shipt which was a disaster! 75% of my order did not show up, and I was never informed. I recommend physically going to the grocery store yourself via car or Uber/Lyft. Overall, nice stay.

Very pleasant

Roomy, clean and comfortable. A good base to come home to at the end of the day. Conveniently located to shops, restaurants and great hikes. Short stroll to the beach.
