Ocean and garden view 2Br 2Ba condo across from Poipu Beach in Kauai, Hawaii. Some of the best and safest swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and boogie boarding on the island. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

This is unit #809 in the #8 building . You will have a fully furnished kitchen, cable TV, wireless internet, washer/dryer, twin beds in second bedroom (can convert to king).

Air conditioning throughout. You will also have an oceanside swimming pool, and tennis/pickle ball court and two bar-b-que areas. Beach towels, umbrellas, cooler, and chairs are provided.

Each bedroom has its own lanai, bathroom, and lanai. This condo is fully furnished and has beautiful island decor.

What really makes this beautiful condo stand out is its ease of access. Located at the top of the hill, simply drive up, park, walk down 4 steps, go to the door and step in. Most condos use parking lots away from the units and require a flight of stairs to get the same ocean view! Also, this is a single level unit -no up and down stairs to beds or bath!

You are a very short beautiful walk to the pool, tennis courts, bar-b-que area, and turtle watching in the ocean!

We loved the condo and the location! The contact and owner were very responsive when I let them know the air conditioner was making noise and had someone come to repair it the same day. Loved being able to walk through the beautiful complex down to the beach. The only negative was trying to find the unit the first night in the dark because the iPhone navigation says “arrived” when you are nowhere near building 8 and in the dark you can’t tell where you are or see any building numbers.

Lovely spot

Very spacious condo in pretty, quiet complex a few blocks walk from beaches. Bit of a hill to get back! Nice view, a little dated inside but everything you need. However, a new coffeemaker, clock and a spray of WD-40 on the patio door would be useful! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Got off to rocky start but owner was responsive which was gradifying. I shared a few suggestions with him which he seem to appreciate. The condo grounds were beautiful. Overall we had a great trip.

Our stay here was lovely. We enjoyed the stay.

Our stay was beautiful, the Condo was clean and the view and surroundings including the pool quite lovely, fabulous really. The fans and windows kept the air comfortable. It was quiet and very well kept. Had a bit of trouble with the shower knob as it was hard to push in and out. This did not interfere with our impression of our stay. Especially the convenience of the parking. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time in Poipu staying at this condo! It was reasonably priced and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The view of the ocean eating dinner on the lanai was wonderful. I would love to stay again! (The only thing that would make it even better is an updated snorkel because the current one leaked). Thank you so much Don for a wonderful home base to enjoy Kauai!

Kauaian home away from home

Don's place is a perfect island getaway. A peaceful view over green lawn, bright flowers, and through swaying palms to the sea. Even during three days of almost continuous heavy rain we were very comfortable. And Don himself is friendly, fun, and responsive. Highly recommended.

Great Poipu condo with excellent view

This condo has an amazing ocean view and an excellent location within the complex. Parking is right at the front door; no steps to climb with groceries, luggage, etc. or lengthy walk to get to your vehicle. Great wireless and tv service. Very good communication with condo owner.

Another great stay!

This was our 4th stay at #809. We like the unit because it's single level, has a view of the ocean and receives nice breezes because it's at the top of the property. Best of all is the large glass coffee table which is perfect for working on a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. It's walking distance to the beach and the local shopping center. The grounds are beautiful and the pool and tennis courts are well maintained. We've already reserved time next year!

Nice view, quiet complex

Nice lanai with great view, quiet complex, large rooms and bathrooms. Washer and dryer are a plus and a/c is good in bedrooms only. It sits up high so the afternoon sun beats down on the living room and bedroom facing West making it very warm in those areas, and you don’t get much of a cross breeze. I think better, updated window coverings would help.

Great view from living room and master bedroom lanai

Air conditioning worked great! Older unit and met all our needs. Walking distance to Poipu Beach. We walked down for shave ice every day! There are steps down from parking lot and step up into condo! Although with help, my 93 year old mom made it down steps and up into unit. She spent most of her morning in sun on lanai off her bedroom and then transitioned to large lanai in afternoon and evening. Kitchen is well supplied and bathrooms off both bedrooms were nice. Plenty of room for 4.
