Had a great time staying at this location. Was washing dishes one afternoon and could see the whales jumping out of the window from the kitchen! The back yard was nice to hang out and let the kids run. I loved having the grills so close to our door to cook when we did not want to eat out. We loved hanging out on the beach where this condo is located at. The waves were perfect for our children and the crowd wasn't as busy as the other beaches.We did have a issue with our hot water but the host was able to communicate with maintenance and get it fixed promptly. We would book this place again in the future.

We were very pleased with the ocean view and the overall features of this upgraded condo. Found everything that we needed. Never was able to use the main remotes in both rooms, but got by on others. Lovely towels and used the washer and dryer once. We are still a bit startled by the pricing. Great condo.John

Kiahuna Resort

Great stay! It’s kinda more like a hotel resort than a VRBO. You have to check in at a hotel desk and they give you key cards for the beach towels.Overall the condo was really nice though! Nice modern appliances. Well kept and updated. The location is perfect and it’s a short walk to the beach! You can see the beach from the patio.Most of the windows aren’t really windows. they’re just screens with shades so it can be very load from outside noises. Especially when the sprinklers come on right next to the window at 6 AM every morning.

A great stay in Paradise!

We booked this trip very last minute. The owner, Brendan, was very helpful. He responded to communications quickly and was very easy to book with. Any questions we had he answered right away. The unit is amazing. It’s upgraded and beautiful. Having a washer and dryer was a big added bonus. We have stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation before but never in a unit with AC. It hasn’t ever been a deal breaker but this unit spoiled us with AC! It was nice to come back to the room hot and turn it on to cool us off quickly! Kitchen has everything you need. We did a lot of cooking instead of eating out and it was helpful to have all the utensils we needed. Bed was super comfy and even the pull out couch bed was comfortable. It’s a fairly short walk to the beach and you can even see the ocean from the lanai. We would definitely stay again!

Magnificent Kiahuna in Poipu

Arrived to an immaculate, modern, and location perfect unit in our favorite property (Kiahuna) in our favorite location (Poipu), within walking distance of restaurants and beach activities. Unit is as described and pictured on VRBO site, and we fully recommend it to anyone interested in a restful escape to paradise.

Beautiful Location on Kauai

This particular property is part of Kiahuna Plantation. The condo was well-appointed with relatively new appliances. The kitchen and bathroom had been nicely remodeled. We found the condo to be perfect for a week long stay on Kauai. The property is maintained well and garden like with beautiful grass lawns and immediate access to the bleach. For runners the location is also perfect as you can run in either direction for miles as well as hike near shipwreck beach. The location is also perfect for access to the airport and the major sites on Kauai. We would stay here again in an instant.

Beautiful unit + property!

We've stayed on property several times and this is by far the nicest unit we've been to. The unit is fully upgraded with brand new appliances and kitchen countertops. Amazing stay

We loved our time at the Bungalow in Poipu. It is fully renovated and is absolutely beautiful. The whole condo is outfitted for comfort and the kitchen especially has everything you could want. The Kiahuna Plantation is beyond charming and is in the perfect location to explore Kauai. It’s always hard to choose a vacation rental when there are so many options, but I promise this one will exceed your expectations. It was ideal for our family of three and close to everything we wanted to do on vacation. I will especially note how fantastic the owner and manager Brendan is. He is so communicative and helpful, honestly he made all the difference in our experience. He provided lots of recommendations and was just lovely throughout our stay. Book this condo!

First Time In Hawaii

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Beach Bungalow. This was our first time to Hawaii and we loved the island of Kauai! The condo was exactly as it is pictured on the listing. This unit is close the parking lot (which we did read about) so sometimes we could hear people, but it was very convenient with transporting our luggage and getting in from the rain! We loved that there was a beach right on the property. We did not use the pool and other options at the Poipu Beach Club, but we did eat dinner at the restaurant there, which was very good! The location of the condo was great. The only issue we had was that the first night there were many small black gnats that were all over. They appeared at night time and were gone by the morning. We didn't have the time the next morning to ask about it and thankfully they didn't seem to reappear the subsequent nights!

Modern updated condo w/ plenty of room for a family of four

The condo was nicely updated with modern amenities and had ample room for us and our two teenage girls. Brendan was very responsive when we discovered there wasn't a blanket for the pullout couch, offering us lots of options to solve the problem. The one thing the kitchen could use would be a few more Tupperware-like containers to store things in. All in all, I would highly recommend this property!

Beach Getaway

Loved the Kiahuna Plantation. The green gardens are exquisite and create a total “getaway” atmosphere. You can walk the entire Poipu Beach. Handy surfboard lessons and rentals are in the towel shack. Our 1B1B condo was nicely appointed and cozy. A rental is absolutely necessary for grocery shopping, sightseeing, and restaurant choices. We loved it!

Beautiful and well equipped unit

Great location and very nice accommodations. Unit had everything we needed for our short stay, with easy access to beach and places to eat.

Great visit @ Poipu

We had a wonderful stay at Poipu. Loved the unit, best we have stayed in thus far at this location. Only bummer was being so close to the parking lot that you hear everything from your bedroom window, but that is just reality, nobody's fault, just the location of the unit. We would definitely stay here again!

Way over priced, for how small ,very noisy ,parking right next to you, no privacy! Have rented on property before and have always loved where we have been for the same price!! Would not recommend

Kiahuna Plantation, Poipu

Beautiful one bedroom with plenty of room and partial ocean views. No buildings in the way of the view of the ocean. 200 yards to the beach. Kiahuna is like a 5 star resort; fresh beach towels, lounge chairs on manicured grass, overlooking beach. Surf shack on the beach with rentals and surf lessons. Great little coffee place across the street. Loved Poipu Athletic Club for workouts, and their Cabana for a drink and to watch football. Absolutely ideal spot.
