"In general a good experience, but I got locked out of my room for 5 hours (check-out at 10 am and check-in at 3 pm), because I extended my stay by a day in advance and before comming - don't do that!, but this was not reflected or implemented in the lock for the door. I did overcome this episod with the help from friends. The reception was closed and didn't answerr my calls before it was to late. The cleaning lady was not helpful either. But I'm still a happy customer and will return any day."

"I have been staying at the Hotel Sonderborg Strand for many years, it is my preferred hotel to stay at when i am over in Sonderborg on business. its a very relaxing place to stay with views over the Ocean, Staff are very friendly and professional."

"The picture posted is of a different place. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, in an old farm house, otherwise clean but rustic. Breakfast was below average with no good coffee available. There are no places to eat in the area beside basic pizza places. Hotel was quiet and staff pleasant. I think it was pricey fir what it offers. "
