Taj Bengal

10/10 Excellent
"The Taj Bengal epitomizes Bengali(yana) in a way the The Taj Mahal epitomizes India, that is to say its essence. If you visit Calcutta (Kolkata), this is where you stay. You ask for the best concierge service (anywhere in the world) and you will have it. The food is incomparable. The car service and the chauffeurs are extraordinarily polite and skilled. We haven’t used the spa and so we can’t comment on that. The breakfast buffet is a treat everyday. All the chefs and attendants are personally attentive to all guests. And I bet once you are hooked to Taj Bengal, the rest of the Taj lineup will be a natural follow through in the rest of the world. It’s not for nothing that it’s one of the best Hotel brands in the world."
