"Came to the area to visit family and decided to try this cabin in lieu of a hotel room. Best choice ever! This cabin far exceeds any hotel in the Monticello area. It was just as described. Clean, well furnished and perfectly comfortable. Location was great; 10 minutes from the Kroger and Walmart. Lake view was nice and the deck was perfect for early mornings and evening for relaxing. Very quiet area of the lake. The sunroom was also perfect for when the weather was not suited for being outside....

"We rented this to spend time with family coming from out of state for our daughters graduation.This place was great for our weekend. Bob was responsive and very kind. Plenty of room, lots of activities!! The only downsides werent even the owners fault. The cleaner told him they would clean it friday before check-in (we didnt get there til after 8pm) but dirty towels and bedding were left from previous renter. No big deal- there was a washer and dryer. The downstairs bathroom toilet paper holder...

"There were a few things that could use some improvement to make this a little nicer but may come with more time and experience. We had to buy more silver wear as there was very little. The bed was comfortable. Could use two pillows per person. Lighting in the cabin is not the greatest in the kitchen and bathroom. No thermostatically controlled heat, just space heaters. Carbon monoxide detector is not located in the proper area for the gas heater in the bedroom. Power strips are used to provide...

"Grace is great to talk with: very communicative and answered questions of mine, not just about the property but also about some plans that I was making. The space is a little smaller than it looks, but, let's be real, everybody tries to make their space look bigger online. It ended up being very cozy and housed all of us with lots of room! The decks are easily the best part of this experience. Such a beautiful view and easy lake access for swimming."

"We would highly recommend staying at this property. We had 10 in our group and there was plenty of sleeping room. The bunk beds are larger than they look in the pictures, so you can easily sleep 2 in a bed. Everything was clean, nicely stocked with toilet paper, paper towel, bath towels, shampoo/conditioner, 2 different grills and garbage bags. Definitely give the cleanliness a 5 star. "We started with cabin 2 and it was completely unsafe to stay in. The screen door and entry door neither one would close properly, the bathroom toilet was about to fall through the floor, the mattress was stained horribly and very broken down and the air conditioner was not plugged in and when they tried to plug it into a double prong instead of a three prong extension cord that was frayed as well is totally unsafe. The kitchen light was flashing. The smoke detector still had the tab that looked...
