"Location was very nice. Finding it on google maps was a little challenging but we asked a neighbour and he showed us the door. Car needs to be parked nearby. Place was very clean, host was very nice. Breakfast was not included but host gave us a welcoming cake when we arrived. Only problem that we've had was the view and noise. There is a huge construction at the port (it is being rebuilt) and nowhere this was mentioned. Heavy construction is going on there right in front of you and work...

"Samatia and Anne Marie were amazing and made our staff so much more enjoyable. They were patient, kind, provided excellent service, dining options and were just warm nice people. Would prefer one large bed vs two pushed together but maybe this was my booking error. Despite this, this is a great location and adorable little town! Thank you Ladies! Mika and Fara"

"We were warmly greeted by Litsa and Natalia. They took care of our every want and need throughout our entire stay. Absolutely stunning property meticulously cared for. Lovely wait staff. Excellent variety of breakfast offered daily. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants."

"Amazing views from balcony, studios set in quiet area within a few steps of all the bars and restaurants. We had the smallest room but this was very comfortable had all the necessary facilities for a very enjoyable stay, would highly recommend Despina studios and will definitely stay again when returning to the wonderful Island of Samos. Hosts are a lovely couple and offered great advice of where to eat & drink."

"A couple of issues: (1) No soap. The only place I’ve ever stayed in my life where that happened (2) AC blows directly on the bed and it’s freezing. (3) it’s the furthest west accommodation near the beach from restaurants. Just some things to be aware of. Otherwise it was clean and affordable and the owner was friendly."

"I was originally due to stay at the Villa Maria, but as it was now closed for the season, the owner Manos took me to 'Vespers' which he also owns....lucky me...it was nearer the beach and I had the most beautiful sea view. The room was very confortable, very clean and tidy, Manos made sure I had everything I needed including my 5.30am taxi to the airport when I sadly had to leave...I would very much recomend Vespers, it has everything you need and is in a perfect spot."

"Ein schmuckes Hotel mit atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer. Überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück unbedingt mitbuchen, ist zwar ausgezeichnet aber teuer. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist sehr schmal und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zu Fuß ist man über ein paar Stiegen in 5 Minuten im Zentrum von Kokkari. Ich werde dieses Hotel sicher wieder buchen."

"I hate giving bad reviews, but this will be one of those. But not completely negative. The hotel itself is absolutely breath-takingly beautiful. Marble staircase, a pool which could be from a movie, greenery and shrubbery gently surround the hotel structure. The hotel is truly idyllic. There is a magnificently laid back atmosphere in the premises itself. Unfortunately, that laid-back atmosphere has as much to do with the general ambience of the hotel, as it does for the fact that the...

"The Penelope Studios has wonderful location in Kokkari, with nice breeze in summer. The most beautiful beach is nearby. "
