"I’ll start with my 2 biggest complaints. They allow smoking everywhere at the resort. Second… the beach is not private. There are a ton of hostels nearby and you can pay to go to the beach, so it wasn’t quite as peaceful as I was hoping got would be. But overall, location was great. Wasn’t get around on scooters (don’t rent at the resort, just walk 10 min around the corner and you can rent them for 100B a day less."

Banyan Tree Samui

"We had an amazing stay at the Banyan Tree and absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had the best trip. All of the restaurants are excellent and offer a variety of choices but the Thai food was exceptional. The property is beautiful, well maintained and all of the amenities are superb. We can't wait to return."

"A beautiful hotel on Samui island. The staff are incredible, the hotel beautifully maintained and so large you feel like you’re truly away from it all. Don’t miss out on visiting the spa (try the coconut flow), or taking one of the complimentary gym classes (Muay Thai training with Mik and Sean was absolutely fantastic!) Last but not least, the food and restaurants. Aum took brilliant care of us at Breakfast, Jakky supplied endless fresh coconuts at the pool bar, One Rai was unbelievably good (special thanks to Raj & chef Armaan who explained so much about the flavours and dishes) and also Pak Thai for traditional Thai food (Beauty was incredible with her food recommendations and education on local dishes!). Also don’t miss the Fire show on the beach after dinner! We can’t wait to come back!"
