Great 3-night stay

Stayed here previously and enjoyed proximity to beach, restaurants, and the ferry, so I booked at Ampha again and was surprised to find that a great little hotel is even better now-really friendly staff, new paint all around, and super clean.

We arrived tired and worn out from traveling. The host greeted us warmly and patiently. They were great. We would have stayed longer but had to leave after a few days. Highly recommend the hotel. Easy beach access, good food and lovely refreshing pool.

Great stay!

Super location, 3 minute walk from a beautiful quiet beach. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice pool, plus the hosts are super friendly and helpful with setting up transportation around Samui, as well as to other islands.

We had a great stay at Ampha place. Didier was very helpful with everything, whether it was questions about the island, providing a scooter to rent, or even booking onward travel. The hotel itself is clean, and maintained well. Only a few minutes to the beach, and well situated for some good food and drinks. A strong recommendation if youre coming to koh Samui

Hôtel très bien placé à quelques mètres de la plage (100m). Nous avions demandé 2 chambres côte à côté puisque 1 couple avec 1 enfant et 1 ado. La demande avait été validée et à l'arrivée, pas possible compte tenu d'une confirmation par mail découverte trop tard suite à un changement de propriétaires dont nous n'avons pas été prévenus. Quelques impacts suite a ce changement : prix des petits déjeuners en forte hausse par rapport à ce que nous avions lu sur des sites (mais très bons, copieux, et au prix des établissement autour), une organisation qui est encore en cours, pas de CB pour le moment... Propriétaires sympathiques, serviables et à l'écoute de leurs clients. De très bon conseils par ailleurs. Des axes d'amélioration ont été identifiés par les propriétaires et seront les bienvenus lorsqu'ils seront effectifs (plomberie, éclairage de l'allée qui mène à l'hôtel...).

Wir waren als Familie hier und hatten ein Familienzimmer (2 Schlafzimmer mit Bad und einer Verbindungstür). Der Eigentümer Yanick, der Hotelmanager Marc und das gesamte Team waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ob Transfer, Tour oder Motorrad, alles wurde umgehend organisiert. Der tolle und saubere Strand ist in 5 min erreicht. Dort gibt es auch einige Bars mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Petit hôtel familial excellemment tenu

L'hôtel d'une quinzaine de chambres est idéalement situé à quelques dizaines de mètres de la plage de maenam. Également à proximité de nombreux commerces et resto sur la main road. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Piscine calme et agréable. Et pour ne rien gâcher l'hôtel est tenu par un couple adorable qui saura vous accueillir et vous renseigner. Petits déjeuner simple et correct avec des confitures maison

Je recommande ce logement pour l'accueil des propriétaires, leur sympathie et les conseils pour nous orienter dans les balades sur l'île, la propreté. Le logement est très agréable et il est situé dans une partie plus authentique de l'île. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Lækker lille oase

Fantastisk sted...absolut det bedste hotel på Samui til prisen. Flink og hjælpsom chef. Meget god rengøring, nok det reneste hotel vi har boet på i Thailand. Køb endelig morgenmad på stedet, god omelet og lækker hjemmelavet marmelade, og til gode priser. Super lækker beliggenhed, tæt på stranden og stille og roligt hotel, dog meget lydt. Vi boede på 2 sal som helt klart var at foretrække..dejlig udsigt(se billede). Kan helt klart anbefales hvis du vil have et stille sted at bo. Tæt på Maenam by og diverse spisesteder.

hotel plein de charme, tenu par un francais et par sa femme thailandaise, qui nous ont donne plein de conseils pour les visites,les plus belles plages et des restos sympas. tres belle rencontre et un de nos coups de coeur durant nos trois semaines en thailande du sud. les chambres sont soignees et tres très propres. la piscine traitee a l eau salee est tres agreable au milieu des plantes. le dejeuner est servi avec des confitures maisons....!!! l hotel loue des scooters et on arrivepeut les garer devant. en un mot parfait, calme, a recommander.

Très bon hotel. Sans hésitation

Nous avons passé 3 nuits mais nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps... Non seulement parce que l’hôtel est très bien mais aussi parce que Didier et sa femme Salika sont adorables. Situé à Mae Nam dans un endroit calme, à l'écart de la route principale et pas directement sur le front de mer mais à 5min à pied de la plage.. Un 7-11 à proximité, une petite landry et services location de scooters et voitures. L’hôtel n'a que 12 chambres, donc familial. Toutes les chambres ont vue sur la piscine. Nous étions en RdC avec accès direct à la piscine. Tout est très propre, bien entretenu. Les chambres sont vastes et literie confortable (clim, frigo, necessaire à petit-déj, TV). La salle d'eau est nickel. Petit-déjeuner servi sous forme de formule au choix près du bar (goutez aux confitures de mangue faites maison!). L'accueil et les conseils de Didier et sa femme ont été parfaits... les excursions, les restau du coin (Cafe Jano)... ils sont toujours disponibles et font l'impossible pour nous rendre service (nous reviendrons avec notre permis de conduire). Nous avons réellement sympathisé.

Fint og roligt lille sted

Vi havde en enkelt nat der, inden vi skulle videre til Koh Phangan. Hyggeligt sted med en flink ejer. Vi havde to sammenhængende værelser (1+2) med direkte udgang ud til poolen. Få minutters gang til stranden med hyggelig atmosfære.

Fantastic little hotel, just off the beaten track, so really quiet but only a couple of minutes walk to the fantastic beach and plenty of good bars and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and could not have been more helpful during our stay. A real homely feel to the place.
