"Samet Ville was a wonderful surprise for us as first-time visitors. It is a rustic setting with a private beach and a wonderfully warm bay inlet. The sand is soft and clean, and the villas range from rustic to modern. The staff was terrific, and the food options were plentiful. "Note the 'Garden Wing' section is a lovely modern & newer part of this hotel. Room was very spacious with a great layout. Hotel is just across the road from beach. The 'Ocean Wing' section is in a completely separate location on the other side of road approx 500m away which you can use their facilities also but in my opinion it looked a bit dated & run down in the areas surrounding the pool.
The local town area is very quiet with not much to do within walking distance. It appears a more popular destination for local Thai families. The beach cleanliness was not up to the standard of many other resorts all over Thailand in my opinion."

..well the forgot to put the rum in out pina coladas and the bar would not bill everything at the bar to our room. We asked reception and they said we could have . I would prefer a few more tables with regular chairs on the beach. Getting up and down from a bean bag on the beach if you are older. One party used all the chairs both evenings ao non was available for our party. I would stay there again bit make some adjustments"
