"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. "We chose Mystays Fuji Onsen Resort based on reviews and it exceeded expectations! Stunning Mount Fuji views and the top-floor onsen with mountain scenery was incredible. Everything was spotless, restaurant had excellent breakfast and dinner at great prices, and the surrounding area is beautiful with plenty to explore. "The hotel is a little older but very very clean. The rooms have a great view of Mt. Fuji. She was a bit shy during our short stay but we did manage to get a glimpse of her from our room.
This place does not have an elevator but staff will carry your bags to your room for you.
