The location is perfect, between kin no yu and gin no yu hot springs. There are good restaurants nearby and the hotel’s breakfast is very good. Excellent for a relaxing time.

You will not have your own bathroom in the room. No onsen in the hotel. Don’t do the dinner. Breakfast was ok.
The hosts are the loveliest couple I've met in Japan, took me to the nearby Onsen, helped me plan the rest of my stay and are still in touch with me from time to time to give suggestions for activities and to check how I'm doing.
Would definitely go again!!!
