"The place was cleaned and the girls Made our bed daily and changes the linen’s regularly. My husband went to the pool he used the raft and noticed a leak in the seam and he mentioned this Michael. Suddenly this was his fault and he needed to pay for it. Then Michael the owner proceeded to tell us we had to pay for the electricity. What? Never has a rental studio asked for electricity payment. "Beautiful place I love the pool and master bedroom"

"Comfortable villa, easy drive to Rawai and all its restaurants. supermarkets and other amenities. A particularly good coffee shop within a hundred yards. Only drawback was the rather rough road to the villa itself, but you get used to that! Spotlessly clean and beautiful towel "sculptures"!"

"I’ll start with the great bits, the villa has a wonderful communal balcony which we really enjoyed and the two ladies who looked after us were fantastic and served up some of the best food we had on the trip. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because there was a strong smell of damp in all the bedrooms (possibly only an issue in the rainy season) and a drainage smell in a couple of the bathrooms. "We had a wonderful stay at Mandarava. The service, the food, the scenery were all outstanding. Some notable staff members were Duke, Sam, Lek, Ouuu (from Chomtalay), the young male trainee by the noodles/soup station (also Chomtalay) , Su, Ann, Apple and Tik ( from the spa) all left a really great impression with us. We definitely recommend the breakfast buffet, it has so much variety and was always fresh. Everyone, even the groundskeepers greeted us with a friendly smile, we felt so appreciated and that says a lot about the resort."
