A perfect little place for a short weekend trip, this is a hidden gem. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was clean and gorgeous. They thought of every detail for this place.
This is such a beautiful property and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a snafu upon arrival and it was handled efficiently and in the most helpful manner. Truly a hidden gem!
Omg - stumbled across this hidden gem while traveling for work. Total accident! Ive now booked future personal trips with family. Beautiful, luxurious, special!
This place is enchanting. Staff are all accommodating. Dinner served is satisfactory. Room interior is unique and exquisite. Bed is so comfortable. Just hope they add more lively activities. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
it was really scenic and good
what was very confusing was their activities
none of the staff was aware of proper process of inviting people for available activities , only after checkin we came to know there was much more to do but all qas already booked.
we tried asking in advance and they didnt mention it at all
their website also is bit confusing when it comes to things to do over there
We had a wonderful stay at Ancient Lore Village! All of the employees were very friendly and the landscaping and attention to detail is superb. We happened to stay on a Wednesday night so we joined the trivia night and ate shredded pork nachos which was available for purchase while we played. There is not a restaurant on site, so this worked for us for our dinner. We sat by the fire pit afterwards and enjoyed the fire and the company of the other couple that was also staying there.
Our room was a delight. It was fun to take in all the details that went into its design. There were complimentary drinks in the fridge and French press coffee. The quality of the bed linens, pillows and towels were in the luxury category. We turned on the electric fireplace before bedtime and relaxed on the two rocking chairs in front. In the morning a club car picked us up and took our luggage back to our car for us (it is a little walk uphill to the parking lot). Overall, a fun splurge that is a highlight of our road trip.
This place is amazing. The staff is great and just the whole environment is so calm and peaceful. Beautiful scenery and just a fantastic place to stay for any occasion.
What a unique, lovely place! It was truly magical! One might think it could be cheesy- but it was simply lovely. We stayed in the Fairy Cottage and every detail was so thought out!
This property looks exactly like the pictures. They were having an event the night we checked in and there was a note on the front door to check in at the lower pavilion with no other direction on how to get there in the dark. Since there was an event I thought we could order dinner but that was only an option if you bought tickets to the event. There isn't anything close so eat before hand. Once checked in we could hear our neighbors conversation clearly so it didn't provide the privacy we were hoping for and we found ourselves whispering during our stay. The gremlin rooms are under the dining room so we heard every foot step when they started setting up at 8am. This was hard for us since we knew brunch wasn't until 11:30 it felt like they could have waited a little later. Overall very nice well decorated hotel but for the price and location I was picturing more quiet and privacy.
